Pretty much guaranteed a good tasting beer (if done properly). This Octoberfest tasted great during every step of the process. It needed about a month in bottles then it started tasting really great! It's a mild, drinkable beer with a decent flavor and a mild yet distinguished hop character. My beer is bottled and now I have to wait a month for it to be ready to drink. Instructions were really easy to use, all of the ingredients were there and neatly packaged/labeled so it was a breeze when I was boiling the wort and whatnot. My house smelled amazing for about a day after brewing and starting the primary fermentation process. I will comment once the beer is done! I have since brewed 11 batches (9 of which were all-grain). This is by far my favorite extract beer, and my second favorite overall of the beers I have brewed. Not only did it taste and smell great when finished, but had a great smell and color during the brewing process. Brewing was a breeze, because everything was labeled clearly, and the directions were simple and easy to follow. If these simple directions are followed, you won't make a bad beer. I would highly recomend this product to anyone looking to make a great beer that you will want to brew again. |
